Kelsey Huffine Bio
Kelsey Huffine is a producer with JOX HSV and the host of Off The Bench College Football Show, a weekly college football program covering Alabama, the SEC, and the biggest national storylines across the sport.
Kelsey was born near the Carolina coast and spent part of his early childhood moving with his family while his father served in the Marine Corps. At the age of four, Kelsey, his parents, and his two brothers settled in Huntsville, Alabama, and North Alabama has been home ever since. Growing up in the Rocket City helped shape his connection to local sports, community, and storytelling, values that now carry into his work in radio and digital media.
Sports have been a major part of Kelsey’s life from an early age. He spent 14 years playing baseball, developing a deep appreciation for competition, preparation, teamwork, and the stories that make athletics meaningful. Over time, that lifelong connection to sports grew into a passion for college football and sports media, influenced by voices like Josh Pate, Pat McAfee, and Verne Lundquist.
With experience in audio production, live broadcasting, show preparation, and social media promotion, Kelsey brings a strong understanding of both traditional radio and modern digital sports coverage. His work includes audio editing, show production, live show coordination, sponsor-friendly content, and growing Off The Bench across radio, YouTube, and social platforms.
Kelsey is also studying Visual Communications at Calhoun Community College, giving him a creative background in branding, design, and digital media. Through his work with Off The Bench, he continues to build a platform that connects passionate college football fans, local businesses, and the North Alabama sports community.
